Fr. Joshua Salas
Born in Islamabad, Pakistan, in 1997 into a Christian family (of Pentecostal and Presbyterian traditions), Joshua moved permanently to Italy in 2017. He briefly attended the Anglican community in Rome, where he became friends with Lorenzo Murrone; from there, after a period of theological and spiritual reflection, the two were put in contact with the Confessional Lutheran mission (LCMS) in 2020. Feeling called to ministry at a young age, Joshua devoted himself to theological studies and was ordained as a pastor in the CLCI on May 31, 2025. Together with Fr. Lorenzo, he currently serves the Christus Victor congregation in Rome.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, Joshua cultivates a deep passion for botany, gardening, drawing, and walking around Rome.

Fr. Lorenzo Murrone

Born in Turin in 1998 to a Roman mother and a father from Puglia, Lorenzo spent a few years of his childhood in Germany, before moving to Rome in 2005, where he grew up and still resides. After an "intermittent" spirituality during his adolescence, he returned to the faith of his baptism in 2018, and then entered the Lutheran mission in 2020. In dialogue with the nascent Italian Lutheran confessional community, he embarked on a course of theological studies that culminated, on May 31, 2025, with his ordination to the pastorate in the CLCI. He currently serves the Christus Victor Congregation in Rome alongside Fr. Joshua Salas.
In his spare time, Lorenzo enjoys pursuing his passions, which include archaeology, ancient and modern languages, music, and poetry.

Pr. Tyler McMiller
LCMS Missionary
Rev. Tyler McMiller is a pastor of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), called to serve in the Confessional Lutheran Church of Italy in 2021. He grew up in a missionary family that served for fifteen years in church planting in Latin America. Before entering seminary, he served as a lay missionary for three years in the Dominican Republic and Mexico City. During this time, he met his wife, Yanela. They have been married since 2016 and have two daughters, Lia and Alessia.
In his spare time, Pastor McMiller enjoys playing the violin with his daughters and taking long walks while listening to audiobooks.
